From “Still in the depths of night” Hiroshige Fukuhara 2010
From “the night became starless” Hiroshige Fukuhara 2009
Emerging after an eight year absence from the art world, Japanese artist, Hiroshige Fukuhara, recently exhibited at the Ai Kowada Gallery in Tokyo, with a solo exhibition entitled Binary. He presented two collections of works entitled The night becomes starless and Still in the depths of the night.
These hauntingly beautiful works highlight Fukuhara’s main question when creating these pieces: what exists and what doesn’t?
