Sydney Featured Artists Announced!

FK have joined forces with Happenstance Magazine to bring you an all new line up of featured artists at the upcoming Sydney Spring/Summer markets event happening next weekend! In 2 new areas in CarriageWorks we’ll present to you the following work of emerging Sydney artists! Original work and prints will be on sale over the market weekend.

The next Sydney markets will be Spring/Summer 2009 held on the 4th and 5th December 2009. The markets will be held at Sydney's best contemporary art centre CarriageWorks in Sydney’s Inner West.

TheRipeCollective will be exhibiting at the Finders Keepers Markets at Carriage Works as part of the Happenstance Gallery Exhibition.

The Markets will run from Friday 4th December from 6pm – 10pm //

Saturday 5th December from 10am – 8pm

Come and enjoy what is "The Hip To The Now" Finders Keepers Markets & have a sample of Ripe's "Newest Of NEW" works..........

::Once Upon:: LeeLoo:: AMBUSH Gallery:: Preview::

Ripe is giving all fans a sneak preview of the work we are having in the LeeLoo 2nd birthday exhibition. For those new to the blog, Ripe had been selected to contribute to the exhibition Once Upon (yup, you got it, fairy tales is the theme) Ali Baba and the forty thieves is our fairy tale and here is a snippet of the work.* Ripe is under strict instructions not show entire work until the opening of exhibition, sorry guys.




This special framed addition will be available via the LeeLoo website and aMBUSH Gallery, opening night 19th November - aMBUSH Gallery, 4A James Street, Waterloo.

The print is the first in the addition (1/5) and is the only one to be in a limited addition frame and better yet it is available for SALE at the price of $160.00. Each is hand signed and labeled.

Leeloo’s 2^nd birthday, in one of Sydney’s best underground venues supporting struggling artists, aMBUSH gallery. Fast forward a few months, over 100 submissions and a lot of headaches later, Renee and Angela have curated 38 of the finest Australian artists to participate in the Once Upon exhibition which will no doubt be a highlight on the Sydney art calendar.
TheRipeCollective will be there as one of the 38 ++++ come an ENJOY!
